I found a silver VX220 for sale and the dealer clearly had no clue as to the demand for it. He put it up for 12k and within a few hours of the ad it was sold. I couldn't get to it quick enough!!
Quite glad though because i went to the motorshow a few weeks later and tried to get in one which had a roof on, oh dear! Now i'm only 5 ft 7" and it was a pain to get in and out. I could have lived with it until i realised that it had to be garaged for insurance, hence nightmare to get in!!!
On the upside, i pay 1445 insurance on the s2k whereas i could get insured on the VX for 700 which is a bargain!! PLus, if you pop the engine on one they have the same parts as the astra, not like the s2k block which is 6k or something stupid!!
Suspension parts are a lot though, all aluminium or something, they wear out a lot too, eek!
