Default Weight saving mods

Hi guys,
Do weight saving mods really do much for the S?, ie namely lightweight wheels, battery, manifold, exhaust, tyre out of the back! , single pipe exhaust.

I can only see losing 50kgs?

I know an exhaust and manfiold add performance too.

I think theres a thread but i cant remember the link.

probably easier and cheaper to save weight than add more power..

for the amount you are talking, maybe it's marginal.. if you drive the car on an empty tank.. then fill it up.. if you notice the difference, then worth doing for you.

however if you really do it to the fullest extent - i.e. stripping out the car.. plastic windows etc.. it makes a massive difference in performance.

You need to get the car to drive itself. That way stones and stones could be saved

Weight saving combined with mods is where its at For me its not much of an option due to being a daily driver. Wheels / zorst / airbox / decat / remove spare wheel are all basic options.

I put the stock zorst back on as I prefer the noise
