I'm a bit surprised by that. I would have thought that any carbon bonnet would have weigh a lot less than the standard one.

It is pretty light I guess. And costs a LOT to get a good C/F one.

If it was me id stick to double wins, ie stuff that might add some poke and save some weight, or handling as Steven mentions...

Wheels are an odd one, going to a light 17" wheel is ok, but the tyres must weigh lots more??
