For those who came up in the summer (and for those who didn't...), I took a video an hour ago of my trip back from the post office. The weather here is horrendous

Looks fun Graham. Down here in Southampton it has been raining most of the night and this morning, but the wind is the real annoying thing. Glad I've got the beater for these sort of conditions.

Had my first experience of true S2000 aquaplaning tonight.
Couldn't believe how little water it took. I've only experienced this on other cars when the water's been say an inch deep. Those narrow rain channels on the SO2's leave a lot to be desired.

I'd be seriousy thinking about F1's if I hadn't had 2 new front SO2's fitted today!

Graham, the rain was just as bad in Irvine. We had water ingress through the whole of our factory. In true Scottish style the rain was blowing sideways and coming in through the vents!
You seem to have had a hell of a lot more light though.

How can an island with a big hill on it flood

I thought it would just run off into the seas.

Yet another reason for you to get a boat Graham
