Default What price would I get ?

Thinking of getting a 2002 model, what do you all think is a realistic price to get for a private sale of a 99V, Silver Red with 8500 miles ?

Gd,

Just started advertising mine because I want to do the exactly the same thing, herein lies the problem, private buyers in the main don't want to part with cash to some bloke off the street (me and you!!) but would rather pay

For information:

Between January and March 21001 I was checking prices of S2000s. Many "V" plates were available for around

Wouldn't happen to have been when the EVO7 was announced by any chance? EVO models tend to take a hammering when the new model comes out.....

Then again my mates wallet took a hammering when Ralliart quoted him

Long story about the Evo VI. I've had 2 and both had mechanical problems - one from Ralliart UK, other Ralliart Japan. Evo VII should have less reliability problems.

Waiting for final details on MY2002 S2k and hopefully will have it by next spring.....

I part exchanged mine in April for 21k (And then got 1k back from Honda). I got this from Derek Warwick in Winchester.

Alistair B, got more but his was a W and mine was a V with 16,000 miles on it. Mind you I had a tracker and alarm on (Whoopeee!!! not).

I think you need to travel around 4 or 5 dealers and show them the car. This will warm them up a little and then you need to play negotiation games. Yo may be able to squeeze another 1k from them.

If not hang on to the car till early next year.

Sam.
