I just opened a build-up of this week's mail. In one envelope was Palmer Sport's new 2002 brochure......

"Drive the Magnificent Seven says the blurb" and lists :

VX220
Exige
EVO VI
FPA
Clio Cup Race Car
Frontera
Caterham 7

No mention of the S2000

Vauxhall Frontera Off Road.... "On a tough course it's as exciting as the high speed stuff", it says on Pages 10 & 11

Unless things have changed drastically, the Frontera was one of the poorest off road performers ever built.

If they've replaced the S2000 with the Evo VI, I think I can see the logic. Yes, I prefer the S2000, but the Evo VI has the reputation that will bring people in. I've driven an Evo VI (it was one car on my list before getting the S2000) - quick, turbo kick, but souless, and a nightmare in town. But if you think of the number of Turbo car fans who worship the Evo VI it could be a good move for Palmer Sport. It also means you'd get to drive a 4wd performance car during one of their experience days.

Formula Palmer Audi. F1 lookalike single-seat racer. Weighs 500kg and 300 bhp engine boostable to 350 bhp for overtaking. De-tuned for novice 'plebs' use but still giving 0-60 in 3.4 secs and 165 mph

Sounds like theyve dropped Honda in favour of Vauxhall as they also used to have some Accord Type R's, big mistake!!!
