its easy Peasy and only took a couple of hours, if you want a higher shine you can get other paints and lacquers

I peeled the aluminium cover off the caps, and then painted them to match the wheels (wheels are now anthracite) and picked up some red 'H' logos from eBay.

Cracking on with the centre caps that I started this thread with..
I have decided to see if I can leave the metal cover on and repaint those rather than stripping them off and painting the plastic so here is the first one underway, loads to do yet so I will add pics over the weekend..
Stripping off the old stuff
first coat of primer

I've bought some BOSNY Chrome spray with the intention of doing mine.
I did my radiator brackets in the cold and without much prep and the paint seems OK (obviously not chrome but a good bright silver) - I'm sure with better prep and a warm day it would look a lot better. The paint itself seems very similar to the Plastikote Enamel Chrome if you've ever used that before.

It's all good fun experimenting with different looks and finishes, not expensive either If you don't like it, try something else I recently tried to wrap mine in gunmetal wrap, but the colour was slightly off. So going to stick with the carbon wrap.
