Where is the engine on the S2000?
Is it a Front engined or a Mid engined? (or front mid engined?!) Given that the engine is behind the front wheels (and ahead of the rear ones of course!)
What is the technical description of a car that it mid-engined?

Isn't a mid engine simply behind the driver's position? Nah, must be more technical than that. Something to do with weight?
The S2000's engine is quite clearly Front. And Mid. So its.... Midfront. Frid. Mont.

to me a true mid-engined car in the accepted sense is where the majority of the engine mass is forward of the rear axle and behind the driver as in the Testarossa/Boxster/MR2 etc
I know that 'technically' the S2000 could be described as mid-engined but I consider it to be front engined to be honest

I think the original definations where a front engined car ahs the engine in front of the driver, a mid engined car had the engine behind the driver but infront of the rear wheels and a rear engined car had the engine behind the driver and the rear wheels. So the s2000 is front engined.
