I got bored of the performance fairly quick. I do tracks about once a year (Nurburgring) but will do more soon.

It was either that, or sell the car and look for something else.

Have a search for posts by a member named Andrew Doherty - he sank thousands into putting a turbo onto his car a few years back, then a shedload more trying to get it tuned properly, all to no avail. He ended up either selling the car part-completed or parting it out (can't remember which) but it was hugely problematic and he took a real bath on the cost of it.

Thanks for all your posts. I'm liking the performance as it is so do you s/c guys mainly do it for track days? or just cos you can......................
I had mine on 9 months and done 5k miles on it.
I've only just done my first trackday with it.
I prefer it to a Turbo as it does not change the character of the engine or the car it just makes it more mental

I went on a couple of meets with Andy
It was a monster but never got tuned well.
Spitting flames was
He ended up selling it after partially parting it.
IIRC the new owner alos did not have it long and finished the part out.
There just isn't the expertise and roven support for Turbo in the UK.
Us SC owners have to import some one

TBH, I think part of the problem is that a lot of people assume that you just bolt it on like a CAI and away you go.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...
