Window help
Yesterday I closed the passenger window, and heard a bit of a claque. I lowered the window a bit, but it kept going all the way down, and when it was fully open I heard a much louder clunk as something obviously fell off inside.
I've got the door card off, and looking down from the top I can see what a coil of wire and a plastic pulley loose.
There doesn't seem to be an easy way of accessing any of it; I thought the inner metal part of the door unbolted but it looks like it's all one piece. I can push the glass up an inch or two but then it catches and won't go any further.
Any suggestions? Obviously the immediate problem is the window is stuck down.

Good suggestion. Of course this is where I regret soldering the wires direct to the speakers.
I did in the end manage to get the window to move and support it without that. There's a pretty good guide I found:

For reference, my window is now held up with the polystyrene block from the door card, a box of front brakes, and an old pair of jeans. It's not quite closed, but at least I'll be able to go to work on Tuesday.
