Default Window Stuck Down

I have done searches and all i found is people with the passenger switch lock on.

The other day my drivers side window stopped working, Believe need a new motor. However it is stuck about a inch down. Is there anyway of manually putting the window back to the top?

Have you had battery problems?

Try putting the drivers side window up using the "bit at a time" part of the switch rather than the "all at once" move. This sometimes fixes things.

If that dont work, then you just have to leave it be, happened to my old car once but I force it too much trying to close the window. The glass shattered and ended up buying new window along with the motor

It could be the switch try taking out the passenger switch and using it to see if it works.

I think there's a reprogramming routine so it can re-learn where is 'top' & 'bottom'.

Well heres the thing, My battery died one day so i got another (needed one anyway) next day battery was dead again. Nothing seemed to be draining the battery. However When i lock my car normally the windows auto go up so i assumed it was trying to constantly push the window up (therefore draining the battery)

To test i unplugged the windows from under the door panel and have had no problems since.
