Quick update on a boring thread.....

Autoglass have now agreed that their 'own' screen is incorrect and an OEM one is required.
They reckon it will take at least 7 days to obtain then they'll fit it.

I've checked at my local Honda Main Dealer and I can have the screen, seal, clips (which Honda Tech said I'll need?) and the airbag warning sticker within 48 hours.

Churchill have been brilliant throughout but seem to be at the mercy of Autoglass and AG will not order locally.

See you all next week with another thrilling installment on the results.

Having read this, and wanting my screen replaced. Via SwiftCover (AXA) I insisted on OEM.
'They' didn't ontribute towards OEM stuff weirdly and I lodged an official complaint.
Anyway they have their 'deal' with AutoGlass to look after.
OEM would cost me £75 excess plus a further £281.46....
I checked on the high street with other suppliers who quoted with no insurance involvement, £500+

Then it dawned on me I could pay £360 odd, and drive home and get another chip straight away...

So I went Autoglass.

No issues whatsoever...seals, clips, rear view mount, all spot on.
