Default wipers

So first day iv owned my car in the rain and discovered the wipers are smearing badly. So im looking for new wipers. Looked at some old threads and noticed people are recommending all different sizes.

Please can anyone help as to what works best and what make/model is the current favorite.

thanks
john

From the FAQ:
Passenger Side: Bosch 20"
Driver Side: Bosch 16s - s is for the spoiler

Any of that size will work just fine, here's a useful thread (there are many on this topic) https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...blades-859453/

Whatever you choose will be just fine.

This is the thread i looked at earlier. For the drivers side people are saying to use a bigger size. Also this thread is quite old so i was wondering if there were newer wipers brought out that were more efficient since then.

They are just bits of rubber and metal, so really not much difference across brands.

I've always used standard sizes - served me well over 14 years of ownership. It's not an issue.

I posted this back in 2013 when I bought the car and the wipers are still functioning very well.
It's not a cheap option but for 5 years and counting its worth it in my mind having good visibility especially on the pot hole ridden roads we now have.

LH WIPER BLADE (CRZ 2011-2012) (76630SZTE01)
LH WIPER BLADE (INSIGHT 2010-2012) (76630TM8003)

These are what you need - thanks to Ninebolts for working out the fitting / part numbers.

Just ordered these this morning. I was frustrated with the valeo types shuddering across the screen.
So on the assumption of a result, a big thanks to Unclefester and Ninbolts for the post and research. ; )

Bosch didn't follow the curve of my windscreen as well as the NWBs, since then I've gone with the Honda CRZ and Insight combo as illustrated here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...eather-965487/
