i'd definately agree with paul's recommendation for bedford. only downside perhaps is that it's not the most challenging track around (lots of long straight bits), but it is the only place to go if you really want to be 10/10ths everywhere.

i'm a big fan of goodwood as well, but it's definately not somewhere to go 10/10ths, since there are absolutely no run-off areas anywhere. the first double-right hander is a corking corner to try and sort out.

for track days, try www.bookatrack.com, or wheeltorque. if you are really serious, RMA are the nuts, but they are v. expensive.

Thats what I mean about this japanese guy, just watched it again, unbelievable, hes doing 220-230kph at times, taking corners at 160kph (100mph).

It would be great if we could get somewhere to show the video at the meet, although the wifes already moaning as shes watched it twice within 24 HRs

I have some great video of me driving my wife around Bedford Autodrome. As I accelerate I have great pictures of the Sky and as I brake I have great pictures of the dash. The sound track is much better though. My wife : "The board says BRAKE!, UGH this is the worst thing I've ever done UGH BRAKE!!!!!!!!" then we come up behind an Elise "Oh slow down you are going to drive into the back of them.... BRAKE!!!! Oh stop go into the pits...".
So I go back to the pits and she has a go. Hmm suddenly the S2000 has only 3 gears - we do 50mph on the main straight and I spend a very worried lap looking in the mirrors and over my shoulder for faster (all other) traffic.

So you are lucky if your other half scares the life out of you - at she is trying!
