Default Wow! - Airbox ON

With all the nice hot weather at the moment my S was starting to feel relatively slow compared to normal........ mainly because I've had the airbox lid off for most of the last 6 months........ popped it back on this morning before coming in to work and bloody hell!!!! she's so much quicker than yesterday...... the open airbox must have been robbing the engine of a fair chunk of power.

If you've been driving round for months with the airbox off....... put it back on now and feel the difference!

I completely agree with you there, but have had to take it off again as its far too quiet with it one.

Why don't you do the airbox mod - get the best of both worlds and its easy to do.

I have done the airbox mod (removed the partition and blocked the resonator hole)....... it doesn't make much difference to the noise as far as I'm concerned....... its nothing like the airbox off sound.

Affer I did the airbox mod I was VERY disapointed as I couldn't really notice any change in sound levels...... so I bought a K&N air filter which made a bigger difference.

Will a PRM affect the warranty, if so how quickly can you change back to the standard setup ?! Does it provide more power as well as (a nice) noise ?
