I can't see how having no MOT invalidates insurance. Think about this scenario - your car fails an MOT. In this case your are allowed to drive the car on the road (to and from home/place of repair unless the MOT centre says the car is too unroadworthy). You must therefore be insured to drive on the road. If you hit someone during this journey the insurance company must cover you. So I would suggest that uness the insurance company specifically says you are only covered for the above circumstances or only 3rd party or something you should still have cover. Must be in the small print somewhere.

they said that not holding a valid mot means im stuffed, i didnt have 4 ppl in the s, i dont know where they got that from but the pics show what happened!!!!

That's what I thought (and indeed always assumed), but more informed posts have put that one straight - get out your docs and go over them with a fine tooth comb

With something of this value, you'd be bonkers to give in without a fight.
