Yet Another EPS Post
Hey, couldn't find a thread with my exact issue so thought id add one to the pile...
The car has been parked for months, was fine before, but isn't now.
EPS light is on and no power steering.
I have replaced the battery, and also replaced the EPS control box. I have visually checked the plugs into the EPS box, into the torque sensor and also into the motor, all plugs look shiny.
Tried shorting pin 4 and pin 9, but the light doesn't react at all. Not sure if this suggests something is wrong with my paperclip's connection.
The car is a UK AP1 from 2000.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I had similar issue after putting mine back together turned out to be low voltage caused by sticking idler pulley..
check voltage with car running.. usually it clears after a good drive.
