A guy at work just picked up a Vectra 1.8 as a beater, on a P plate with 110k miles on the clock and full service history for a cool grand. The engine just sings on the motorway, he intends to use it to visit his bird who lives a fair few miles away and run his TreVoR at the weekends.

)If it's for the M25 carpark, I'd be tempted to get an auto - but misused autos can fail at surprisingly low miles.
