FS: Silverstone, Red / Black, MY04 S2000 GT
The details:
- Registered January 2004, 53 plate, MY04 model year.
- Silverstone
- Red / Black interior
- 20,800 miles
- Full Honda service history
- Honda extended warranty until January 2009
- GT, therefore it has the hard-top
- OEM front lip spoiler
- OEM rear low-level (tasteful) spoiler
- OEM side strakes (very few have these)
- All usual S2000 features
- MikeyK woven stainless mesh grill
- Alpine CDA-9815RB head unit (plays MP3 discs) with Alpine dash controller interface
- Muz premium mats (Red)
- Headrest inserts
- CoG optimised on 26th May this year, it got the all-clear on the bolts, too.
I'm the second keeper, the first having been the Springfield group. It was their showroom car, hence why it has all the OEM kit on, and had only covered 195 miles before I picked it up.
Selling because I'm not really using it anymore. I've only covered a little over 2,000 miles this year, and it's only that high because I loaned a friend my Mondeo for a month.
I need to take some up-to-date pictures, but here is the car (it hasn't changed):
Pictures taken today (3rd November) I've still left the others up 'cos they're sunny and bright
More pictures and larger versions of the above (2272 x 1704) available here.
Please bear in mind:

Seriously though, this is a nice car, well looked after, good forum member. Having known Wayne for a few years now, I'd happily buy this myself - safer than buying from a dealer IMO.
In fact I'd be seriously tempted if it wasn't silver (mine is the faster black to the right in the first pic )and if I had some clarification about my employment situation for the next year.

I'm almost in the market for another one. My first S was Silverstone and I sold my last one to Sarren [the pink one ] a while ago now, but I've just started to check the market out again. Its been on the cards for a while because I miss it so much and my choice is probably going to be Silverstone again [or maybe moonrock?].
I'm guessing not, but does it have headrest speakers?
I'm a tad out of touch, so what's the 'CoG optimised' bit all about?
Are you considering selling it without the GT hard top and stand?
Are you considering selling it without the body kit [but keeping the rear spoiler]?
Will it leave marks on the paintwork if the body kit is removed?

2) The car has had a full suspension geometry set-up / check by Chris Franklin of Centre Gravity. The car is now optimised for fast road driving - improved turn-in etc.
The suspension bolts, the current 'big issue' for the S2000 were checked and none were seized.
You'll find quite a number of posts regarding Centre Gravity dotted about the main forum.
3) Yes, I would potentially sell the car without the hard-top, but won't consider selling the hard-top separately until the car itself has gone.
4) I won't be removing the kit. I don't know if damage is likely in removing it, and any potential damage will quite likely cost more to put right than I'd receive for the kit anyway, so it stays.
Feel free to fire away if you have any more questions.
I'll be putting it in the 'Trader in the next couple of weeks, once I have my 'plate off the car.

Appreciated thank you.
I'm not into wasting anyone's time so please don't take any notice of me.
My finances aren't quite ready for the purchase for at least another 4 weeks or so, and I expect you will have sold the car before that happens.
...I'm just lurking for a short while. If I had the money right now I would definitely be putting in a genuine offer.
