Right, I've managed to order the Invidia from ImportCarPartsPlus. Hopefully should get delivered in a couple of weeks, with or without import tax.........

Cost so far

If their is significant interest I am happy taking over the H&S GB. I have used them before and this may give us a little headstart with them.

I am pretty sure I am going to do mine with them, but am happy to book everyone else in.

Who's up for it?

Due to the lack of centre box a Hayward and Scott especially with a decat sounds the nun's buns. When 'illegal' it pops and crackles like a race car, hinting at their origins as the original Scoobysports manufacturers.

Decat off is much more subsued in the upper rev range, less raw and offensive, more bassy but can't really be considered a drone.

I'm quite happy with mine but it doesn't split the fumes evenly which can look a bit 'wonky'. If I were to buy again I would probably buy an off the shelf system as I feel the machine welds offer superior (but soulless) quality.

Thank you jel, I presume when they say a cat back system, does this mean the first one you explained?

Wow, H&S sounds ace.

If the Invidia falls through then this would be the 2nd option on my list. Though looking back, perhaps this would have been the most sensible option!

It is a lovely exhaust....

The invidia is just way too loud and noisy...I think it overstates the S2, then the H&S when it warms up grumbles when idle...which sounds gorgeous...and then when your foot is down really comes to life with a good note.

I do have pics from when it was in for the install, how the hell do i host them? My membership lapsed last month, do I use some Imageshack crap?

Cat back means a system from the cat backwards! A full system would include a decat or be just one pipe from the header. These are race only and fail emissions hence why the majority are 'cat back'.
