Is the TTC something that should be changed at a recommended mileage ?

Or is it something I would know about if it did need changing ?

Put you ear to just above the oil filter, if you hear an obvious rattle when starting (louder when hot) its on its way out for sure.

My car has done 21k and has used 5w40 all its life but I did once run low on oil and that could of killed mine?

There seems to be a pattern of circa 30k ish miles?

I'm going to do some under the hood investigating this weekend, I will let you know lloyd. I think i'm going to buying one as I am planning to keep the car for another year or two.
