You don't know how to focus your camera in macro mode.

Holy crap - is that pin snapped from heat? Is there any damage to the traces that pin is soldered to on the underside of the board?

If you remove the board from the aluminum backing plate, is there a cardboard insulator? Assuming there is - did it wear through and allow that pin to short?
