I would love to put on a couple of things like an AEM intake but don't want to go through the hassle of removing it each time I go to the dealer. Anybody have any experience with a mod friendly dealer in chi? Can anybody tell me any dealers that freaked because you had something done to your car?

 

I got mine through Muller Honda in Highland Park. I inquired as to mods when I got mine and they said that it was totally cool, but that it would obviously not be warrentied as to whatever I changed. For ex. a new exhaust would void the warranty on the exhaust system.

I have not done anything to mine yet, but they gave the name of a shop that they work with and were very friendly to the idea. That's all the knowledge I can share. Not all that much really. I am also interested to hear what other people's experiences are.

 

Highland park is a bit far for me since I'm in chicago. I'm probably bringing my car in next week for the spark plug tsb and an oil change. I think I'll talk to Carr's in Chicago and see what they say. All I'm interested in is an intake. It just makes me a bit nervous hearing some of the stories on this board.

 

I got mine (spark plug TSB) done at Schaumburg Honda. And I have the AEM CAI and HKS Hipper ex. They were ok with it. Isn't Bollingbrook further than Chicago from Highland Park?
