Any runners?
Hey UMW crew,
I know this is a car related forum but I thought it might be worth a shot to see how many runners are also involved. A non-profit charity (Open Heart Magic) I am actively involved in needs people to join its charity team who are interested in running the Chicago Marathon and Shamrock Shuffle. Signing up for the OHM Charity Team guarantees you a spot running the Marathon.
Maybe running isn’t your thing but want to get in shape, love obstacle courses, or long bike rides, we’ve got something for you too! Whether you choose a half marathon, Iron Man, Tough Mudder, CrossFit competition or any other race, you can do it knowing you are helping to bring more magic to kids in hospitals. Challenge yourself and bring your MAGIC!
Open Heart Magic is a non-profit like no other. We go into the hospitals and perform bedside therapeutic magic shows to children. The kids become the magicians. They feel special, more confident, and empowered. They smile. They laugh. OHM energizes kids and helps them find the strength they need to heal. We want 2015 to be our biggest year yet! Last year our volunteer’s engaged over 7,700 kids. This year our target is over 9,000! I’m sure you all need to finish thawing out from the winter, and what better way to do that than a warm fuzzy feeling on the inside?

The Chicago Marathon lottery opens today. If anybody you know is looking to run for a great charity and get a guaranteed spot in the race, Open Heart Magic, can get you a spot. Please message me if you are interested!

Alright friends, its less than a week until the Marathon Lottery closes. We still have guaranteed spots taht can get you in. In case you are on the fence or are interested in running for a charity we still have spots available. I can promise you its for an awesome cause (running to help sick kids at their hospital bedside). Message me if you are interested!
