Default Anyone in Evanston, IL????

Hey guys... just looking for a little help.
I go to school at Northwestern University, and was hoping maybe someone lived in the "A" parking district of Evanston. I was kinda hoping I could get a parking permit or something like that. Or if you know of anyone who lives by campus and rents out their garage space that would be great too. Thanks.

Thanks! What color are you? Sometimes when I'm on campus I'll spot an S2000 around Evanston, and it makes me miss my own car.. haha

Joy Yee's, their drinks are so good... food is nothing special in my opinion though. And it's always so freakin crowded! Do you ever eat in at Giordano's on Monday's for half price???

Don't live in Evanston, but I went to NU. Just thought that I would say hello. I can sympathize with the parking situation. I remember all too well.

Seaking of parking, how do you guys feel about valet parking? Am I wrong not to trust my car to a stranger? The reason that I'm bringing this up is, last night I went to White Star in downtown with some friends, and my friend valet parked his car, and when we got it back there were 50+ miles extra on the odometer (we were there till closing time). So now I will try not to take my car out (even though I would love to) when I go clubbin. Sorry I just needed to rant about that.

Thanks

I never valet park my car.. never!! I don't know of any place where they will forcibly make you valet park your car. I even tip the valet just to let me park it myself sometimes. Although one guy puts a post it note with the miles written on it on the dash.. and also keeps one with him. Let's the valet know you're keepin an eye on it...

S2KGirl... nice to know more NU people/alums!! What year were you? What school? And I hope you haven't been paying attention to college football this season so far.... let's just say I don't think I'll be buying a season ticket this year... =(

I graduated '99 CAS. Actually it had already changed to Weinburg by then. I was a history major.

My first year was the Rose Bowl year and unfortunately I have been checking in on football. I try not to, but it's hard to avoid it all together.

It's lucky that I finally got a new car, because all of my previous cars can't be parked in Evanston (on campus or off) because of excessive parking tickets. Now I can finally go back and visit.
