[B]Seaking of parking, how do you guys feel about valet parking? Am I wrong not to trust my car to a stranger? The reason that I'm bringing this up is, last night I went to White Star in downtown with some friends, and my friend valet parked his car, and when we got it back there were 50+ miles extra on the odometer (we were there till closing time). So now I will try not to take my car out
(even though I would love to) when I go clubbin. Sorry I just needed to rant about that.

Well, come Sept. 20th, I'll be there 24/7.. just hope I can somehow get parking, either through the school, or through the city of evanston. I know some people rented private garages from some folks who lived on campus.. just not exactly sure where..
Did you try the parking garage right across the street from Wholefoods Market? I'm quite sure they have monthly parking there. I park there all the time and see plenty of spaces available. But is "A" parking northside of campus? Or you could steal someones sticker and park at Norris. HAHA
Here's an idea. I am surely not promoting anything unethical, but find someone living off campus and have them buy you a commuter parking sticker. If they live off campus they should be eligible and it's cheaper than paying the fines. If I remember correctly the tickets were 80 bucks a pop for no parking sticker. I have paid more than my share of those.
Thanks for all the ideas! I'm going to look into the garage by Whole Foods. Last year my friend got me a transmitter for the garage over by the movie theaters. But the Whole Foods one is much closer. People who live off campus usually live within the "walking zone" and aren't allowed to get commuter permits... DAH!!!
