I found out the fake glove box cover was extra though. I had that done as well. That was $70, and the upper door cards were $200 for the pair.

The swap went pretty well. I'd like to thank Rain H8R and 05S2k02Si for the awesome help they gave me, and Midwesta for providing some helpful pointers.

Unfortunately, the swap had one major hiccup, which was that my airbag module did not fit the airbag cover that I was given. So one of the panels that I got is still not installed, my airbag cover is installed, but with no airbag module. This is something that will be fixed very very soon.

Why did your air bag not fit?

I have another airbag that you could try with the top removed.

The difference between an '01 and '03 airbag module is that mine is wider and thinner, while the older model was narrower and thicker.

If an older airbag module will connect to an '03 harness and bolt up the same, then we could just switch modules.

Original cover from the '03

Alcantara cover from an '01 (I presume)

I sent an email to GoTuning to see if they have a finished cover with the pocket like mine for a swap that way. It seems less painful than to try and match other parts from different years and whatnot.

Well I have an 01 airbag that I am not using that you could buy then you could sell your complete passenger airbag with the suzuka cover.

Wish it was a black cover cause we need one.
