...you really missed out...



Fall colors was a fugging blast! Despite some of the preconceived notions I heard previous to leaving (...the s2ki affiliation )... those who were there, were only there for one reason... to have a great time.

It was interesting however- a lot of S2ki antimousity was buzzing in the air! ...so many were bitchin' about the site. ...so dispite what people thought... there was no realation... it really was an independant event. I tip my hat to Rick.

As for our video shoot... we got some GREAT shots! This DVD will blow Freshwater's out of the water!!

BTW, this probably isn't the best advertising approach, especially if you plan on making FWT an annual event with an event DVD coming out of it each year.

Oh well, we had fun, too.

 

i would of love to go, but i spent way too much funds for the year.. maybe next time..

boiler... I was more or less referencing the individual people in the Michigan and Chicago crew who opted to boycott the trip....


As for the condenscending remarks regarding that DVD... was that necessary? When did the Chicago members become so malicious??

My comment was only to note that I had discussed going with many Chicago members... many chose not to because of S2ki's affiliations... and thought it to be a s2ki event... I'm only assuring that it was not that at all.... and in all actuality- it was a great event, and an even better time... and it was unfortunate that those inparticulars chose not to attend...

I did not find Urmil's response kosher, and I'm disappointed in his approach. I'm not creating negative publicity for my own tour- only noting that it was a great gathering- but then again- I'm not trying to "compete" anyway.

The FWT DVD was compiled with no outline, scripting or agenda whatsoever... it was done blindly with no expectations... I and many others felt it turned out great considering.

but if you feel the need to be callous... carry on- I guess that my relationship with that crew is not as strong as I assumed...

 

oh and BTW... technically Ohio isn't a part of this "midwestern" forum...

 

not all chicagoans are malicious.. i for one is just a car enthusiest.. just because i own an s2000 doesnt mean im part of a certain board or functions.. i could careless about the drama!! i have my own problems..
