Yea, i can understand. If my z06 was slower than a stock sti on the track, id sell it too. LOL. i play.... Does the special edition you have get any better resale?
Stock ShTI-y's WISH they were as fast as me on the track. Actually I have never seen an STI on the track when I have been there. I have seen some Evos (which are supposed to be faster at the track than the STIs) and they give me a run for my money, but I can outrun them. It becomes more of a drivers race. I dunno about AutoX. I have never run the Z06 in an AutoX.

The Commerative Edition package does add some to the resale value. To the right buyer, it would add a LOT to the resale value. I am not sure if I can get what I need out of it, or if I will sell it. I am just entertaining ideas at the moment.

There was a guy at Gingerman last year in a Blue STI who was fast. Having lunch at the the same table, I think he was eastern European. He asked if we could do the track counterclockwise but the organizers politly told him it was unsafe. Fast guy.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that guy! I met him at gingerman too. He was a complete jack-ass, and nearly wrecked out my buddies car. He also passed in turns and if it has been up to me, would have been kicked out and banned from the track. He was friends with the organizers though, so no luck.

He was faster than me, however, that day EVERYBODY was faster than me. I was having tire problems, and literly EVERYONE passed me that day.

No new Z06. At least not for a few years.
