Default hood dampeners

does anyone have hood dampeners installed on a seibon hood? if so what did you use to screw the bracket into the hood? it seems like the shocks would be too strong for a self tapping screw. also do you measure out your own hole for the bracket? sorry i didnt get any directions with these dampeners.

i am actually missing the bolts that attach to the fender. anyone know where you can get those? i have tried the hardware store, menards, home depot, and pep boys. no luck with any of those places. i have no idea what brand the dampeners are.
