To be honest, if she is willing to give $4700 and you'll make $500 off it, sell it. It's starting to rust and show its age and wear & tear, you'll end up putting far more money into it and will never get that money back.
Pocket the money or buy another DD, if you must.

finish the part out of the jetta, sell the gsr, garage the S and drive the truck daily.
give $100 to mom and dad and tell them to catch a movie and dinner cause you need the house tonight.
