I like it
I've been eying one of these for a while now. I really like it and will test drive one this weekend.
I have a strong feeling my next car will be either a H2 SUT or a convertable BMW.
What do you guys think about the H2 Truck? like it? hate it? think they are useless or handy? Would you key one if you saw it? I ask because a lot of people seem to hate these things.
Take a look and be honest http://www.autosite.com/Previews/2005-hummer-h2-sut.asp

I drove the H2 in that GM event, and I can honestly say it has the cheapest, worst quality interior I have ever seen.
I kept thinking about how all the knobs and plastic looked like the car-fi stuff you find on the wall at K-MART. I know it is supposed to look ruggid but it is so Fisher Price.
The H2 Truck looks better in the pictures but I don't know.
It gets crappy gas mileage, choppy ride, it is hard to park, does not turn. I mean you really have to like driving a rolling bus/tank.
Thats not me, I like small cars, and mid size luxury. But if you like huge trucks/SUVs I guess this is all you.
I can't see you going from an S2000 to a H2?

I like trucks. I like GM trucks. I like the H2.
I am not so sure about the SUT. I don't think it has enough space in the bed of the truck to be useful. I think the Avalanche is more practical from that standpoint.
Mitch, I have no idea what your picture has to do with this thread, but I LIKE it.

I always wanted the S to be my secondary car, used for special occasions. Also now that I work only 10 miles from home mileage is not an issue anymore.

I just got the pink slip for my S a few weeks ago. I'm keeping it.

I'm not an IL guy, but I'll post anyway. I really don't like the H2 at all; there are much nicer things available for the money. Especially considering it is nothing more than a regular Chevy with an ugly box bolted to the frame. If you want a Hummer, buy the real deal...if you can't afford that, buy something that isn't trying to be something it isn't. I personally don't even see why they put the Hummer name on it (marketing purposes obviously), almost a disgrace to the company (kind of the Liberty and Jeep when it first came out).

With the exception of the S2000 every other car I ever bought/leased left me with the conclusion I could have had something else for the money later on down the road.
I'd hate to get tied up in this thing and regret it later.
