So yes, the moral of the story is I'm not fast, but I'm working on it.

Well K1ngfunK, if you're going to give up that easily even in just the talking phase then how are you going to hold your own in the real deal?

You were on a roll there for a while, even brushing aside my casual insult to car color choice easily (though when you're colorblind, as you must be, who can blame you?).

I'm sure with his vast experience over you at CIR, he found a way to rig the kart and keep you down. He propbably had your kart custom fitted with his personal construction of Mashimoto Tires that only HE knows how to get the best out of.

Pat, I could help though I suffer from the same slacking affliction. Hopefully our slacking cycles are just not aligned. We could use the event calendar on the forum, which is pretty empty in the winter.

I think I might go check out the monthly runoffs on Monday. I'm seriously looking into doing this or some kind of league, or both if money permits.

[let me try to form a proper rebuttal, as I posted that whilst bored as hell at a party last night and in a bit of a forfeiting mood]

By working on it, I mean working at getting back at him. I clearly saw him sneak in a box labeled "Mashimotos" with a return-address from somewhere in Japan. My guess is he had to give the cart mechanic a little something-something on the side to swap tires on that he clearly knew the characteristics of better than I.

Plus, Pat is shorter than I am, so he CLEARLY has an aerodynamic advantage in an open-air vehicle such as this.

Also, I should probably clarify that by "dusted him at autox", he means he's spun out numerous times at the corner where I happen to be working, often covering me with dust. This is especially true in early morning sessions at Maywood.

I heard Pat was super slow at everything he does.

I'm definitely interested in a winter league if logistics can work out for me getting from Milwaukee to whatever location you guys choose. Pre-paying seems like a good idea to ensure nobody gets screwed on the deal.

K1ngfunK, now that's more like it. You could have also made other implications about Pat due to his size.

the-moss : based on your comments of Pat doing everything slow, you must not have spoken with any of his former girlfriends.

Pat, sorry we're picking on you so much, such is the price of popularity (or is it notoriety?). It's only until we make you cry , or if you beat us in which case boy howdy do you have bragging rights.

I'll give a little while for more 'interested's' to chime in and then start a list. I'll check with CIR to see what sized groups they support and what kind of a deal we can get. If any of you have experience with them & this, please chime in.

I have plenty of experience with this kind of thing (although not a karting league specifically). You'll never make everyone happy so don't try, take all the input you're offered as opinions (including this), some will be good, some will be not so good, do what you think is best, and those that are interested will show up and have a good time.

Well it's not like I can speak from experience, but I have heard things through the grape-vine. Plus, I think we all know he merely got the CR due to the large spoiler for "compensation".
