Indoor Karting
Oh K1ngfunk - I see you know little about aerodynamics. You are taller, thus you should be faster aerodynamically. Like - how a taller wing is better than a shorter one. And since you have the body frame of Paris hilton, you are narrow enough not to produce any drag. Of course you aren't fast enough to yield any aerodynamic advantage anyway
Clark - I'm pretty sure it's impossible for someone to flip a kart, but we might have to get you a roll bar anyway. We can put Hello Kitty stickers on it too
Make fun of the spoiler, mashimoto tires, and my baby penis all you want. From experience, I know it just makes it more enjoyable when I win.

You're speaking to someone who has taken fluid dynamics (and rocked it), so alas, you are mistaken. A taller wing may create more downforce, but alas, I'd prefer to minimize my µ, or coefficient of friction. I think the "µ" you're most familiar with is whenever you look down.
Sorry to interrupt all the trash talking with some content, but unless a plan comes together no one will be able to back up their trash talking...
The next iron man will most likely be in October. Last night they were talking about making a "super iron man"... 150 laps.
The next monthly run off is 9/20 at Buffalo Grove. Arrive at 6pm. Driver's meeting is usually about 6:30. Racing begins around 7 and wraps up around 9:30. Trophies are awarded to top 3 finishers in each weight class. It is run on a combined track.
Until a S2KI league happens, I encourage everybody to come out and try a MRO.

I totally agree about the MRO and will try to make it (I may be out of town
I also dig the idea of the Iron Man, in addition to any league we may set up.
Back to trash-talking:
Pat, I have indeed flipped my kart as well. We've all seen on TV at least what happens when open wheeled vehicles touch tires; he chopped across me hard, my kart 'cartwheeled' before I was thrown from it. The results were a sprained wrist and a pissed-off me.
Oh, and the baby penis helps contribute to the low aero-drag. I of course am going to be at a serious disadvantage (I have a Hello Kitty decal on my car as Pat knows. I'm definitely not compensating for anything
