Default just installed header and hfc

ok well first of all i thought it was hilarious all of the DIY posts said expect 4+ hours for install. I did it in about 2 with breaks.

I installed the PLM and berk HFC and where the hfc and header meet up they use a donut gasket which i think is dumb. I could not for the life of me get the gap to close between flanges and now have an exhaust leak. I don't have air tools so maybe im just weak? haha! suggestions?

for exhaust i now have plm header, berk hfc, and the invidia q300. Aside from the exhaust leak, it is still super quiet and has a real mellow tone which imo isn't common on a Honda so I'm very pleased.

Grats on the new parts. No pics??

Also, do you know the size of the header and HFC? I bet they're different diameters and you'll need a bigger donut then what is originally on your stock stuff.

no pics, it was a "strictly business" install. lol!

the donut came with the plm header. The HFC is a 70mm not sure what the header is at the primary. there are others running that header/hfc without problems so I think i need to just mess with it more...

I have the same header. Have you tried using the stock donut?
