Midwestern Council Blackhawk Farms HPDE
It's just a little under a month away now for our Blackhawk lapping day on May 29th so it's time to get signed up over at http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEve...sevent_id=11092
The important details are that it will be $160 for around 2 hours of track time. There will be limited instruction available by volunteers.
Convertible rules are that your convertible is allowed in if it has factory roll-over protection, or it has an aftermarket roll bar. A hard top is not considered roll-over protection.
The last point is that this is going to be a mighty fun time, every year people come to this and say what a fun event it is!

hmmm, I assume the S2000 fits into the category of factory roll over protection. Any rules against highly modified cars?
questions, is BHF a 1st 2nd and 3rd gear track only?

Yes, S2000s are allowed in assuming you didn't remove the factory roll hoops (without adding a roll bar).
No rules against highly modded cars.
BHF is 3rd, 4th and 5th for me.

This looks like something I want to try. I am currently changing my suspension stuff. So hopefully it all works out well.
Anyone else doing this? 515135 will most likely be joining us, but in his 08 Si instead... blah. Bring the S Joe!
Anyways, is that website the only way to sign up for this event?

I believe there is an option to mail an entry in with a check, but I'm not sure where to get the entry form or where to mail it to. If you e-mail Gary Schneider (online registrar on the my auto events page) he should be able to provide you with that info.
In my opinion, the website is the best way to sign up though.

Patinum should come out for this. Garrison could bring Das Mini, Pete could bring the Vette. We could have a little UMW mini mett/track day at BHF.
This is seriously good value for track time.

I might go to spectate and get rides. I'm going to blackhawk for the first time (driving) on June 12 and 13 for the NASA event and it would be good to get a ride along. I'd like to do this one to prep, but the racing budget is pretty tight this year (planning on 10 to 12 track days as it is on top of the trip to the Ring )

Not a call out, an invite. You know you can't experience a track riding like you can when you drive.
Plus it's super cheap...... For a track day.
