Thanks for all the support everyone. I know I haven't made it to many meet but I've been busy with work and local politics. Work won and now i'm dropping everything to move to Michigan.

I'll likely end up in the Troy, Sterling Heights, Farmington Hills areas. Yet to be determined as we are going up next weekend to look at rentals.

there is one thing. Are there any nice driving roads in the North East burbs or just over the border in Canada? When I have a bad day I tend to need a nice drive to chill out lol

^ Kamron and the other Detroit guys would be able to help with that, I'm about 100 miles west of Detroit.

E-Brake,
Welcome to the area. Let me know if you have any questions about the area; I'm sure I can help out.

I'm a lifelong resident of Michigan and live in Troy. When you get settled in I'm sure we can get some locals (Troy, Royal Oak, etc...) for a drive or get together.

Regards,
Christopher

I'm down

I'm thinking about tossing a spring BBQ in the driveway/garage

Thanks for the welcome and somber goodbyes.

I'll be close to the Troy area. We are driving up next weekend to check out apartments.

Welcome to MI. I have memories of using V-tec on on and off ramps, it's about the only chance we get around here, hence we drive to Rt26 in Ohio and of course the Dragon.
We are in Grosse Pointe, just above Detroit City and next to Lake St Clair if we can be of any assistance just ask away. There are lots of houses of all sizes available to rent (or buy).
