Default Need help in Minneapolis

Hi,

I have not posted on the forms in a while as I'm a college student and the temptation of starting a new project when ever I am on these forms is insane.

With that said. I was wandering if any one in th minneapolis area would be willing to help me out with some trouble shooting. I'm originally from Kansas city and I feel a little stranded out here.

The problem we are trouble shooting is I believe my spark plug came loose which then caused the coil pack to be ejected in to my hood. This cracked my cf hood and destroyed the coil pack. I'm working on ordering coil packs at the moment but I would like to see if the problem really was just a spark plug coming loose before they get here.

To answer the expected questions

The spark plug tube is not stripped
The spark plug is not stripped
My oil is a nice gold because I changed it 500 miles ago

Thank your for your help and time. Even if you don't want to or can't let me trouble shoot with one of your coil packs if your in the Minneapolis area don't be afraid to give me a shout out . My number is 9135688363

Was the car running crappy/misfiring leading up to the ejection of the coil?

The coils are held down with a 10mm bolt. I'm curious as to what happened to that bolt.

My guess to the cause is that it came loose allowing for the plug to work its way out. If you look up loose spark plugs ap1 s2000 there is actually a part sold by honda to prevent the plugs from coming out on the early models of our cars. With that said all the other plugs were still tight which is odd because most of the people who had this problem would find other plugs loose as well.

However this is a odd car in general it only has 54,000 miles and it sat around for 8 years of its life so I'm guessing I'm bound to run in to a few problems here and there.
