Default New buffer (metro detroit)

ok so i've been waiting a long time and i finally purchased a porter cable 7424, and by wednesday i should have my orange, white, black, and red pads in. also ordered all the menzerna products i should need to use with it. just wondering if any other metro detroiters out the have experience with machines, and if they'd be willing to give me any pointers. already read up a lot on using these things, but it'd be nice to hear from someone locally.

in addition, any metro detroiters good with radio installation for the s2k? i got a new one installed by having some problems with how the treated my center counsel and such.

anyone out there locally let me know!

p.s. still need to have a few pre-cruise cruises!

Marc,

I'm not sure that I completely understand your question, but I have removed and reinstalled my factory radio when connecting an aftermarket iPod interface. I remember that you do have to remove the shift knob and the plastic center console cover before removing the radio door/bezel otherwise you'll scratch the center console up when you're removing the door/bezel. Is that what you are getting at in the second part of your question?
