Hmm, what if I don't have a helmet? I'm thinking about the afternoon group because I work late friday night. Also, do I need to change my brake fluid before the event?

Bump for two reasons.

Jirlzee needs to know if he needs a helmet, so he needs to call the track or one of you ppl need to reply.

Dezoris did reply and I'm a whiner, whaaaaa.

Yeah he will need a helmet Snell 95 or higher.
The Civic used to be my autocross car however, its tired.
Been through 2 sets of injectors, 3 sets of shocks, ruined rear subframe, half a dozen control arms, upper control arms etc.

It needs a clutch and and a trans rebuild, and one of the injectors are flakey.

Right now the only thing the car has on it is four triple adjustable threaded Bilstiens, complete camber kit, and 250lb front springs and 300 lbs rear springs corner weighted last year.

I need tires and need to have my shifter bushings replaced before the weekend and that is not looking so good right now.

I'd say if this is your first time on a track your stock fluid should be fine for a 1/2 day. This track looks to be very hard on brakeing. So after your day the fluid may be boiled, so you will probably change it out after.
Hopefully you all have a good amount of brake pad left. The harder you drive the fast everything wears out, all good though, its ment to otherwise your npt having fun.
I will be there in the morning early, I am having a friend drive my truck out there with all my tools, race tires and spare stuff. So I will be prepared for most anything.
I check the list and can't tell who of you all have signed up??

Only two days left, but there are spots available, and at $60.00 for 1/2 day not a bad price.

Ok, what about a helmet. Does anyone know of a shop or somewhere that stocks them so you can try them on?

Go to any motorcycle or ATV shop.

Tell them what your doing.

I believe DOT approved or SNELL 95 or above rating should work.

A $100.00 HJC should be just fine, no need to spend $300.00. Get a full face not open face. Although I use an open face mostly some tracks don't like it, so be safe and get full face.
Make sure its comfortable and matchs your car of course.

Also be sure you have soft comfrtable shoes, long pants incase they don't like shorts, (bring shorts too)
Driving gloves if you have them, not needed.
Make sure your car is emptied out and everything tight and secure.
