So here I am at 11:20AM today, southbound in the left hand lane on Barrington Road with Schaumburg Road behind me and Walmart/Sams approaching on my right, when a top-down Silverstone with black/red interior pulls by me on my right. The guy driving had on a blue handkerchief-style cap/head-thingy, and basically stared straight ahead and ignored my nod and wave.
I guess being an Olde Pharte in an S2000 must offend some other owners.

7am-ish southbound on the very south part of I-355. You - distinguished gentleman in top-up red 00-03. Me - guy in a top-down silverstone 04 waving. Dude - I know it's a Monday, but c'mon, where's your enthusiasm! Any week that starts off with a 3 hour drive w/ the top down in the early morning sun can't be all bad...maybe I've just had too much coffee today...

Last Saturday, July 31, heading north on 53 past woodfield. I was far right about to get on 90 west. There was a white s2k that honked and waved. Well, the driver honked and waved. It took a minute for me to figure out what was going on. I waved back, but it may have been too late to notice.
The next day (sunday, 8/1), I flashed my lights and waved to another white one on randall rd. I was heading north. He was heading south. He returned the flash and wave.
Mine is an 02 spa yellow, and the top is never up unless it's raining hard.
By the way, most s2ks I see around here have no front plate. Have you guys had ticket problems that way?

Pfffffttt.... we're hardcore man, just relax and take it the plate off. You'll be much happier. Or leave it on that way we can identify you.
