Just a few photos from my favorite local play area. I can't count the number of times I've driven into Decatur intending to work on a weekend, but instead just kept going West to spend the day in this area. The region is bounded by interstate 72 on the North, and the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers on the West and East. These pics are along the Mississippi side, within about 40 miles North of the confluence of the two rivers, and the lower IL River East bank (bottom photo).
