Storm passing thru Chicago...
So I'm chillin at home, preppin for an interview tommorrow, and I see a big storm rolling through. I'm curious how bad it's F'ing up air traffic control, and I see this poor flight:
This flight took off from Ohare, bound for Grand Rapids, Mich. As you can see by the solid red there, there was no way that airplane was going to penetrate that storm. So first the pilots hold, as you can see the circles they made near grand rapids. They do one full circuit, then decide that it would be better to just divert to the alternate airport, which is back to Ohare. Problem is that after they took off, A big storm rolled over Ohare, and when they got close, they had to hold again, as pictured by the circles they made near Ohare. They made about 3-4 circuits, and after burning up fuel, they decide that they can't wait any longer for the storm to pass, so they fly to TOLEDO!!! Can you imagine being a passenger on that flight? That's gotta suck!

Go to the left side, and you have a choice of entering aircraft reg. #, flight number, or the airport. For Ohare, type in KORD. After the screen shows up, you'll see a small map with a bunch of little planes near the top. Click on it, and it will open a full size window.
