Is this thing still on? it has been at least a week since there has been any word.

 

Yes this is still on. I'm waiting for my contact at the Tire Rack to get back into the office, so that I can work on setting up this event. The person that I'm waiting for will be out of the office until May 22nd. I will let everyone know more as soon as I get to talk to him.

I checked with his department and they do not have a calendar of events so I can't help either. Hopefully we can get the date and get moving. He is suppose to be back on Tuesday.

Is the place where this is going to be held a retail outlet or just a corporate office? If it is a retail outlet, I would like to get some advice on tires if I go.

I got your pm for me yesterday, but haven't gotten a chance to follow up with anyone.

Perfect people to ask for help on this are member Clark, Jason Saini, FD Racer, Solo VR6, Soloiiracer, and some others.

Let me first try to get a hold of these guys via phone and see if they can help.

As far as other racers in OH, IN, MI, etc. I'm not familiar with who they are. If you know anyone else, by all means, please ask for their assistance.

In the meantime, can you get me a short list of dates that Tire Rack can host us?

I'll cross-reference them with other dates that are already booked with major events. Once we can get a date/weekend secure, we can proceed with getting all the paperwork done.
