While that's not my call to make, I would suggest it. The decision should be made sooner than later, IMO, to insure a good turnout.

I'm sorry that the date for this isn't agreeable for everyone, but we can discuss this as well. This was meant to be a "fun" activity for everyone. I think that it still can be, but instead of bickering, let's offer some help and we'll get this thing off the ground and all have fun together.

Jim, I hate to do this, but I'm so busy at work that I don't have any time to devote to this project. I'm going to have to bow out of this. In order to co-ordinate this event properly, it requires a fair amount of time during the day, that I just don't have.

I'm sure that the owners will want to try this at a later date. Thanks for all of your help. Could you please let Matt know that the date is open (September 7th)?

If it works better for next year and we get a better date for everyone, that is fine with me. I will do what ever I can to help. We can get some sponsorship from Bridgestone and do it up right. The Windy City BMW club even raises money for charity. We have the course, timing, and facility here.
I don't want any one who wants to come to miss out on a good time. If it doesn't happen this year so be it. Let me know if you want to try after Nationals or next year. The more cars here the better.
