Hey Brian, welcome. Look out for some of our winter "beater" meets that we have every so often in the Chicago-area.

Otherwise, we tend to have at least one Thursday night meet as soon as Spring hits.

Hey, everybody. I'm 27, located in South Bend, IN. Been a Honda fan for a long time and now I can finally afford a nice one. I've owned two 87 accords, an 87 CRX, an 87 Civic hatch, two 89 Integras, an 89 Prelude, a 96 civic, and a 00 CR-V.

On December 28th I bought a certified 02 Sebring Silver S2000. I love it more than life itself. It's still stock with the exception of Michelin X-Ice tires for winter. When it thaws I'm going to do whatever mods I can afford that 1) won't void my warranty and 2) won't mess up the car (I'm not touching the suspension) and 3) actually make the car faster (no cosmetics).

I also ride motorcycles and have owned a 71 Honda CL350, 72 Suzuki GT550, and an 04 CBR600F4i. I ride the CBR most days in summer, so technically the S2000 is my winter beater.

1) They all do.
2) Suspension changes can yield huge benefits.
3) Bring cash. Lots of it.

Welcome to the board

Well folks, I'm joining the club.

I've been lurking on and off for a while and this week I took the plunge. I've purchased a Spa Yellow 03 with 22K. I still have not actually seen the car, only pictures. I'm flying to Texas this weekend to get the car. I'm really excited.

I guess I shouldn't be looking forward to 950 miles with the top up on Saturday?
