Im so sick of winter. I just bought my S2K last week and i would really like to drive it. I only have 3 hours of driving time with it. Its February so its supposed to be getting nicer out.

Mines been in storage since november, talk about withdrawls. Ill be waiting until at least march to get her back on the road too. Long midwest winters

 

bought mine on the 2nd of feb......had to have it towed from a patch of ice last night and nearly killed myself a half dozen times driving it in the snow the past week.....didn't stop me from cracking the top and blasting down lake shore when it was 40 out.....most fun i've had in a while!! can't wait til it's warm!!!

 

haha, now that sounds like soemthing i would do. top down at 40 degrees out

 

i have taken my s out twice since novermber. Damn. Sure cant wait till april.

I am presuming you don't have winter tires. If that is the case please do get some winter tires or else nearly will become a certainly for the car at least. I know I sound like a but I am just looking out for a fellow enthusiast. With winter tires on the car behaves quite nicely on decent amount of snow and ice.I for one daily drive it unless there is too much snow.

 

Nicer? In February? In CHICAGO!?

February is typically THE worst month in Chicago for weather. March will be nicer.

 

I bought my car in February of 2005. I vaguely remember a warm day in there where I had the top down. Car is in hibernation now and I'm missing it.

 

trying to gather some spare coin to get winter tires for the stockers and then load the summer tires on new wheels....i know i know, the car will eat a wall eventually if i don't but it's too hard to resist driving it!!

hey, does anyone put together a roadtrip out to the dragon from here? I'd be willing to go for a weekend....maybe leave on a friday at noon or earlier, hit a dive bar friday night and drive the beast saturday? i've never been and now that i'm well-equiped, i'd be in for sure!
