pre-registration closed early due to the overwhelming amounts of returning drivers/instructors. There's going to be limited spots for open registration. I'd suggest anyone planning on going register and PAY asap.
I only see 1 S2000 paid for beginner spot this year and 6 S2000 instructors. Come on beginners - odds are you won't end up with an S2000 instructor with other organizations.
I'm registered: Intermediate II. I assume I & II are the same and not skill level based (according to the site). Tried to get in I but it was wait list only. Going to II and I was able to pay immediately.

Totally agree this event takes much planning. However Im thinking of the few people I know that wont be able to register. Just being considerate towards all. Last year I signed up (thanks to zspeed) the first day it went public and was on a waiting list. But yea maybe ill push the people who missed it to something like Wangfest. I hope you dont need a wing to register tho.. teehee
Also who said WMHM-2 has to be @ Gingerman???? LOL ill stop NAO!
Also, when it comes time to buy, I'd suggest going to the place Brian (2PointSlow), among other members, went to to try ones on and buy. I can't think of the shop's name now, but since it's important to have a good fit, it's nice being able to try on a bunch of helmets in-person. I've been using my motorcycle helmet, but when the time comes to actually buy a proper automotive helmet, I'd like to buy through them.

As for WMHM, I wasn't able to run, but I did attend the event anyway. I highly recommend that anyone who is even remotely interested in participating, attend even if they can't afford to run. Just being able to ride along with someone is a great deal of fun. I was lucky enough to ride with Pat, Cezar, and Austin, (it was interesting to see the different styles, including Cezar's "Turn the car off in turn 10" style
)As of now I'm 50/50. I have the money to register, but the car needs some to have some work done before I can even think about putting it on the track.
^ yeah that was a little scary. i thought my motor popped.
story: i hit my key chain with my knee as i was heel-toe downshifting through turn 10 which turned off the ignition lol. i did burn the crap out of my clutch though.
safety tip...take anything unnecessary off your keys in an HPDE or auto-x.

do u have a helmet? there might be some extras floating around, but not guaranteed. any snell rated helmet is acceptable. No DOT helmets are allowed.
