We are in the process of setting up our store and we are definitely going to do a small run of legacy shirts.
More hoodies coming too.

Wow, only 1:57.73 for me according to Harry's LapTimer Pro. I've got pretty much a stock setup on a MY04, except for brake pads, brake fluid, and a UK-ish alignment with Dunlop Star Spec tires. Looks like I've got to improve the driver significantly, but I was really rusty since I've not done any HPDE since WMHM 8.

Besides the driver, what else can I do to decrease lap times? Someone told me sway bars would be a great bang for the buck. This is a daily driver for me so I am looking for streetable changes.
<desperately trying not to sound cocky> You can't really compare to my times since I've been doing this forever (8 years now) at this track and have a great setup. A good judge of improvement can really be seen in line and car control. If you have any videos I can help you with any of the nuances of Gingerman.

Sway bars are great! Autocrossers use really really really big sway bars. The only ones hardcore autoxers would even consider using are the Gendron, Ankeny, Comptech Adjustable, and Saner. The first 2 are around $1k I think and the last two are discontinued I think (but can be found used). Oh, and you really only want a front sway bar. Forget the rear. If you don't want to spend that much I've heard good things about the Whiteline bar and even something like the OEM CR sway bar is a good cheap improvement ($100?).

Seat time really is the answer though whether it be autocross or track days. I imagine you're looking to be a faster driver, not necessarily have a faster car. Track days are fun regardless of how fast your car is. If there's enough interest I could look into setting up an S2000 track meeet or autocross. May have enough connections to make a private event if we can get enough people.
Thanks for the sway bar suggestions. Do you think it's useful for HPDE (as opposed to autox). Yes becoming a faster driver is my primary concern, although having a faster car is also a goal of mine. I will look more into the sway bar thing since I feel like I was having some pretty significant body roll.

Had a great time too. Awesome first experience at a track. Pat who was the guy that got a 1:47.7 in a ap1?
My buddy Michael. He goes by mron0903 here but doesn't post often because he's a jerk that doesn't listen to me (although he did listen to me when I told him to buy an S2000). We've been racing together for years. He's the one that put down that fast lap at Forza Saturday night.
Wow now! Those are them fighting words! But yes, I was the one that put down a 1:47.779 in my AP1. Here's the link to my vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pLHj...e_gdata_player

Nice driving! I can see where I could improve just by watching this (mostly in the area of needing to downshift to 2nd instead of 3rd). Could I ask what your setup is? It seems like you have almost no body roll!

No power in 3rd for AP1 in turn 3 and especially turn 10 once it starts drinking oil

It's hard to say but I honestly think if I had my OEM suspension I would've done better. The FA 500s are really bouncy and unsettling through 8-9.

I usually downshift to 2nd on turn 3. Turn 1 and 2 seem to be in between. Staying in 3rd causes me to fall out of VTEC, going into 2nd seems just a little overkill, keeping me near the redline all the way through that section. I usually stay in 3rd around turn 10, but 2nd would be pretty advantageous I think.

I'm still a newb at it, so I'm sure with more seat time, I will be able to carry more speed and eliminate the "need" 2nd gear all together.

Oh, and I'm in a 2002 AP1 with bone stock suspension/wheels and I wouldn't change a thing. The car feels absolutely perfect and predictable. I can't imagine changing anything in the suspension and having it improve anything.

Here is a clip of me on Saturday. Intermediate 1, session 3:

Beginning of Sunday sessions I was trying 3rd gear through 3 and 10 and I posted a 1:48.949. End of the day I tried 2nd gear and that's when I hit 1:47.779.

AP2 can carry 3rd through the whole course and stay in vtec pretty well. 2nd feels very good through 3, but I think 3rd can work at 10 if a good catch can is in place so it doesn't gulp oil through there and bog down.

You'd be very surprised to see what a front sway bar will do for you. It's less apparent on track yet still helpful, but for autox it is a night and day difference. Then comes coilovers but anything less than a $2k systems won't be much or any improvement over OEM.
