WMHM
Oh, look who thinks he's all 'Advanced' now.....
Pat, I'm sure it's another case of WMHM not having their manual records synchronized than anything else. My Miata friends are husband and wife, I'm sure they paid at the same time.
We're also bringing along our Boxster friend, who is a beginner but I don't see him on the list at all. I'm pretty sure though he's registered and paid. I don't let it bother me because WMHM's controlled disorganization seems to end up working out in the end.

Berner9,
I have several sets of old partially used fronts (mosty Hawk Blue and/or HT-10) for stock front calipers I can bring along.
I've converted my front brakes to Wilwood calipers and have no use for them. They vary in age, condition and I haven't kept them well-marked, but you and anyone else is welcome to them.
Come looking for the black 'Hello Kitty' car parked with a couple of Miatas for the brake pad grab bag. I have no spare rears, sorry.

i don't plan on pushing the envelope (beginner spot, first HPDE) or anything near it. just getting my feet wet.
will i be ok on OE pads/rotors/fluid?
i will be flushing the brake fluid before this event and would like to know if the switch to motul/super blue is necessary.

Jeggy- I'm in the same boat... I'm leaving my rotors alone. I've already put in Super Blue since I knew the brake fluid was 6 years old. The pad debate is still happening in my head. It is my first HPDE as well. If I learn fast and want to push the car hard I don't want to be limited by the pads. But it is tough to justify $$$ for track pads that will only get used once this year. So at the moment I'm planning to live with the limitations of OEM pads.
If you need a local source for Super blue, I got mine here:
Northstar Motorsports
$15 for the 1 liter can. 1 liter should be enough.
And of course a site sponsor:
